This book was much better than the first in the series. It still had a couple of issues, but I think this is down to the author, who uses the same ideas in most of her books.
Ultimately, this is going to be a very average series and one that will be quickly forgotten in time.

I enjoyed this book so much! It was great to learn more about each of the characters and see them develop throughout the story. Some of the new characters that are introduced are also really cool. I can't wait to see more of them all in the next book.

I liked book #2 better than book #1.

The series reminds me a bit of Age of Five.

SpoilerTyen and Rielle's stories still only mildly intertwine.
