I thought that this book was interesting, but honestly I hoped for more. It had such promise, but I felt as though that potential was never actualized. I think Christopher could have pushed the plot a little farther, however, it was a captivating story, and I was anxious to see what would happen to Gemma and Ty.

This is such a beautiful book despite the fact it is about a kidnapped 16 year old and her relationship with her captive. You end up feeling for her kidnapper and wanting them to live happily ever after. I love everything about this. It is a very heartbreaking story and a complicated one.
quick read, but not my thing. the outback was more interesting than the characters
