Saved at the end with a good twist and a real fleshing out of the story. Quite boring and formulaic up until then, despite having an amazingly interesting premise

Eye-opening book. Makes you confront just how male-dominated the world is and the origins of gender domination in society.

Wow. This was super impactful. The way so many of us think the grass would be greener on the other side, but really it is a toss up. Power Corrupts, and human nature is human nature no matter the gender

This was both what I expected and what I didn’t expect… I loved that there are multiple characters you follow throughout, and they end up crossing paths. I love the idea of the letters to kick of the book being from the author but still part of the story, and then concluding in the way that they did. At first I had no idea the letter in the beginning was part of it, just a letter from the author to a friend. But it twigged at the end. Very clever! Highly recommend.

Wow, very good book, and interesting commentary on power, sexism, etc. Will be thinking about this one for a while. Very on the nose for current political climate unfortunately. Hate to report, bleak as hell
