Read this as it was in the family kindle account plus I had seen a few of the TV series clips in passing and had gone wth so thought the book  might help me understand. Here's what I knew about the guys and girls in Slough house  the slow horses HQ are the fu** ups that MI5 can't get rid of for one reason or another so they send them here to sive through paperwork and phone taps and so forth.
This is where everything gets murky : A secret black op goes tits up and the service needs a scrap goat team so who better than these so called Slow Horses  they find out somehow what happened and proceed to save the day and their own lives and jobs, everything of course unravels for the ones who wanted to use them as scapegoats and life goes on as normal. There's a few deaths and attempted murders and I'm not quite sure how things get to the end point  hence the 3 stars, basically I think I was lost most of the time whilst reading this.
