I thought is was quite funny and a pleasure to read. :) Thanks Becky!!

I wanted to like this, as I really like Amy Sedaris. This just didn’t land with me.

Funny and extremely gross. I would not keep this book in the kitchen.

I didn't know what to expect from this book - an actual book on entertaining, or complete satire. I gave up halfway through because it tried to be both (I think?) and the satire bits didn't work for me.

Amy Sedaris sure does know how to entertain. Now I need to get the book book to see the pictures.

“Commit or decline. If you cannot come to the party, do not cancel at the last minute or give a message to a child to inform the host. And don’t bother explaining why you can’t attend because anything after “because” is bullshit.” 😆

This was pretty fun on #audio. It’s a good mix of dark humor, which I love, and actual good tips. Plus, recipes. And I love that cover.

It's laugh out loud funny. You could probably read this book several times and still see new little jokes and visual hilarity that you'd never caught before.

hiLARious! Amy Sedaris is one of my favorite personalities and it's her personality that shines through in her guide to entertaining. A reminder of all the wonderful 'how to' books, this had me literally laughing out loud - at home, on the train, at work - there's something for everyone and everyone should read it!

Meh. David's writing is more humorous.

I like this book, and apparently, it likes me! I got it out of the library to look through, and I think I may have to buy it for myself whenever I find the time/money. It's not necessarily something you'd sit down and read, but more of a reference/cook book (someday I WILL make the ghost cake with fiery eyes). Where else can I find a guide for entertaining gypsies? Or the finer points of personal grooming next to a cake recipe?
I heard that Amy Sedaris is writing a craft book, and I'm VERY excited for that.
