This book was such a breath of fresh air. It was so sweet and had this fluid like melody of telling the story of Beth, who has been in love with her friend Mark for practically their entire lives.

But the stars just won’t seem to line up for them. Mark has no idea how she feels, and Beth wanders through life dating a handful of other men who she *thinks* could make her happy.

But for Beth and Mark, their paths continue to collide year after year, after all they are like family.

And through loves, and losses, and the milestones of life—perhaps there might just be hope for them yet…

I loved this book! Loved loved loved!

This was an Amazon First Reads book. I was happy to find a holiday book and it had several Christmas references in it though not really enough to get me in the seasonal mood. This was more of a drama than romance and the romantic relationships were actually my least favorite part of the book. I thought if Winter #2’s relationship rolls into #3 I’m not finishing the book. But the fact that I finished means that it wasn’t all bad. There were relatable feelings and scenarios.

This was boring. I feel like it was surface level. They could have gone better into her different stories . It seems like they rushed it and it was too fast and useless.
