I normally love the way that penny weaves a story with Easter eggs and settings from previous books and the same town. Struggled with the disdain and scorn that Isaac has for everyone other than Hannah. Didn’t enjoy the subtle religious / abstinence undertones either. Not my favorite of the series.

Isaac has always been a favourite character and I was excited to read his story. He was everything I thought he would me and so much more. I absolutely adore him. I've always known Hannah was the stripper with a heart of gold, but I struggled a little with her mindset at times. I enjoyed the story and have to own up to tearing up a couple of times.

I love the Winston brother books and so any book that takes place in that world is an easy win for me. Love how Penny Reid takes tough topics and makes them light hearted without downplaying the impact. Love the audio books as the narrators are consistently amazing. Love Joy Nash and Chris Brinkley who narrate all the Winston Brothers books on Audible.
Loved it. Loved the stupid sexiness at the very beginning and then love growing. Love the side characters who clearly love and care for their people.
Loved seeing more of Cletus, who is still genuinely terrifying.
