I enjoyed this graphic novel.

This follows Damian as he brings the Teen Titans together and to protect them from his grandfather.

It was an interesting story. I enjoyed seeing the Teen Titans learn to trust each other and become a team.

The characters were great. I really enjoyed seeing them work together.

I am looking forward to where this story will go.

Really enjoyed this story. Characters with plenty of flaws and history to keep the stories interesting.

June 19th Review: Why read new books when I can reread comics? Also god I love the art in the first issue. I wish the art had stayed that way. But I did like the art in the last issue. I think the rest is fine but man that first issue is great. I really love this team dynamic. All the different personalities and powers. It’s so cool. And I’m a sucker for the heroes versus their opposites. It’s great. I wonder when we’ll see Mara and the Demon’s Fist again.

October 23rd Reaction:We start off with Beast Boy partying it up in LA, trying to distract himself from the death of Tim Drake. He then gets kidnapped by a hooded figure.

I forgot how attractive Starfire is. And she gets zapped with an equalist glove.

This art style makes Raven look super adorable.

And finally we meet Kid Flash, who I know a bit from Young Justice and I think he was in the Teen Titans cartoon but I don’t know if this race bent version is different.

We then skip to all four of the Teen Titans are together, captured…by Damien.

Robin: I…I don’t have any friends…not with kind of life I’ve lived.

I don’t think kidnapping people is the way to go about making new ones.

Wow. Where does one get a secret liar that has skull spewing lava?

Oh great, the Demon’s Fist crew are going after our five heroes.

It usually takes me a while to warm up to Kid Flash, but this comic is making me want to look more into his backstory.

Mara is Damien’s cousin. Interesting.

Beast Boy really wants to curse.

Raven: Even the Demon’s Fist understands this. Each assassin chose us as individual targets because of what we represent.
Starfire: Light.
Kid Flash: Hope.
Beast Boy: Super sexiness.

I know it’s clichéd but I really love this camp fire scene.

Okay, the Demon’s Fist crew switch felt a little bit rushed but it was cool to see them work with the Titans.

This was a really fun comic! While I’m still not the biggest Damien fan, he had his moments. I really love the team!

Ehhhh....

Better than New 52 that least. "Work in progress", I think they'll get there one day. Hopefully sooner than later

I received a free copy in exchange of an honest review.

After the death of Tim Drake, the Teen Titans has part ways. Damian, son of Batman, is decided to take his destiny into his own hands. Leading to a quest to reassemble the team Teen Titans…

When I saw that DC Comics was going to publish a volume about Damian, the first thing that came to my mind was: sign me in! I was really excited to read about the Teen Titans, especially with the whole Rebirth event going on.

First things first, I have to say it was a very good comics! I enjoyed it all along, the art, the writing, the characters development, and the list goes on. Hopefully, it is Rebirth so it sets everything straight and minimize the number of rebounds on past events or backstory. About that, you need to know that it’s been a while since I read about Teen Titans. Added to the fact that I do not have the best memory (you might as well call me Dory now!), especially for ALL the backstories and small details between EVERY character! Moreover, I attach great importance to the beginning of comics, if I get hook from the start it’s often a good sign. Verdict: I did!
In my opinion, the beginning is one the strongest point of this volume. It is very well-done and the art is at his best. I counted on the writing and the captions to set a smooth reading experience, which Percy and Meyers delivered. The captions and the art support each other very well by offering a quick recap of past events (much needed by the way!). Concerning the whole volume, it was very good and entertaining. The writing was great, it explores interesting shifts in character’s evolutions and introspections. My only dislike, and dislike is a big word here, is that I wish the author had added more humor, even though you can always count on Kid Flash to lighten up the mood!

About the art, it is bright with some shadows well put for some characters or scenes. This is good and pleasant work for the eyes.
In a nutshell, I liked the progressive tone of Damian’s evolution as well as the fresh formation of the team. It’s definitely an empowering debut. Now, I am eager to read about their next adventures now that they are all set!

Fun read!

I had to stop and laugh out loud at Damian's ridiculous "you're probably wondering why I gathered you"-esque scene because wow, that boy has definitely inherited his father's flair for the overdramatic and pizzazz, and I love it. I'm still not sure how I feel about the actual core group. Beast Boy and Starfire seem a lot older than the others so it kind of feels like they're just there to babysit Damian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway, I'm excited to see how this turns out.
