While not great, still good and fun. Damian butting heads with the rest of the Titans is fun, and the Demon's Fist is a fun oddball group of antagonists. Promising start to this Rebirth series.

I am surprised to rate this so high. I really enjoyed the story in this. It wasn't one I bought for myself, but my partner wanted to read it and so it was in our library… I will be interested to see how the team fares in Volume 2 and whether the idealism of the younger heroes will be there without too much of the…parts of teenagehood that I would prefer to forget!

So, a lot of this is new to me. It seems that Robin has been more than one person over the years and Batman calls the new ward Robin over and over, but the twist here is that this Robin is actually Batman's son. The mother went to live with Ra's Al Ghul. The new Robin is forming a new Teen Titans. So it's now the same group of people I have known to be Teen Titans. Raven is still here and Beast Boy, but Cyborg is missing and the other ones. I'm a little disappointed.

Robin is doing his best to be good. He was sculpted to be evil, but he has a hard time letting other people in. He is a perfect match for Batman. Batman does show up here and there and he is a terrible father really. He can't connect emotionally. This is a group of misfits who figure out how to make it work.

I did find this story to be fun and well crafter. I look forward to reading more.

Okay introductory volume.
I find Damian hard to tolerate all of the time and while this story tries to humanize him, it was still focused on him to much for my liking. I knew this going in so it was fine. Also, I'm not the biggest fan of the art. It's a bit childish and the characters look 12. I don't like Starfire's character design. The costume is good but her hair? Why is it pink? I know it's a stupid thing to complain about but her hair it's supposed to be orange. The colours do look very nice in most panels, but they're not always the ones I want.
There's definitely a Young Justice vibe to this comic, so fans of the show might like to check it out.

I received a free copy in exchange of an honest review.

After the death of Tim Drake, the Teen Titans has part ways. Damian, son of Batman, is decided to take his destiny into his own hands. Leading to a quest to reassemble the team Teen Titans…

When I saw that DC Comics was going to publish a volume about Damian, the first thing that came to my mind was: sign me in! I was really excited to read about the Teen Titans, especially with the whole Rebirth event going on.

First things first, I have to say it was a very good comics! I enjoyed it all along, the art, the writing, the characters development, and the list goes on. Hopefully, it is Rebirth so it sets everything straight and minimize the number of rebounds on past events or backstory. About that, you need to know that it’s been a while since I read about Teen Titans. Added to the fact that I do not have the best memory (you might as well call me Dory now!), especially for ALL the backstories and small details between EVERY character! Moreover, I attach great importance to the beginning of comics, if I get hook from the start it’s often a good sign. Verdict: I did!
In my opinion, the beginning is one the strongest point of this volume. It is very well-done and the art is at his best. I counted on the writing and the captions to set a smooth reading experience, which Percy and Meyers delivered. The captions and the art support each other very well by offering a quick recap of past events (much needed by the way!). Concerning the whole volume, it was very good and entertaining. The writing was great, it explores interesting shifts in character’s evolutions and introspections. My only dislike, and dislike is a big word here, is that I wish the author had added more humor, even though you can always count on Kid Flash to lighten up the mood!

About the art, it is bright with some shadows well put for some characters or scenes. This is good and pleasant work for the eyes.
In a nutshell, I liked the progressive tone of Damian’s evolution as well as the fresh formation of the team. It’s definitely an empowering debut. Now, I am eager to read about their next adventures now that they are all set!

I have never really liked Damian all that much, but this book changed that. Excellent writing. An excellent team. A fun read.

Awsome adventure for a start up

It was awesome to see the start of Teen Titans and how they came together under Damian's leadership. Having watched Teen Titans a lot when I was younger it was really awesome to see this storyline and a Revival of the DC Comics. The artwork is amazing and I love the character development and composition of each character. The story flowed seamlessly to bring us present and past storylines.

So good so good so good.

All the teen angst. Plot's pretty good, but the characterization is where it's at. A great introduction and finally something cool to follow up the show I miss so, so dearly. (Although no Cyborg!! Whatever happened to him? Kid Flash is cool though!!)

Damian is a shit, but I like him.

And Starfire and Raven were not sexualized!! This feels momentous!!

Well did, team. I want more.
