I received this book as an ARC from a Goodreads giveaway and am (belatedly) providing a review:

4.5 ⭐️ A beautifully written book on a not-too historical period of deep anti-Chinese sentiment in the US that I doubt enough people know about (I certainly didn’t, and I’m a born-and-raised the West Coaster). For those that think anti-Chinese sentiment is a result of COVID, this book shows you how wrong you are.
