I really enjoyed this. It gives a young adult paranormal spooky vibe, but it's also a murder mystery. It never really lagged, but some parts were more interesting than others so thats why I took off a star, but I still really recommend it. I'd love to see it as a movie.

A compelling read. Trust your instincts. Believe in signs. Everything isn't always what it seems.

I really enjoyed this book. Kennedy's life was forever changed six months ago by a double homicide, and Nolan's been searching for any clues of his missing brother for two years. Their paths cross and the search for answers for both their brothers commence. If you're new to mystery-thriller (though this isn't thriller by any means), this would be for you.

Only critique--Kennedy's mom is murdered and she barely focuses on that part of the mystery (????) and the answers to Nolan's brother are a little contrived.

I like Megan Miranda’s adult mystery thrillers a lot and even her Ya mystery fragments of the lost but this felt so much like a YA mystery that I just couldn’t do it. I don’t like YA mysteries on principle and unfortunately this didn’t transcend my bias against it

I really enjoyed this book. It started off different then I was expecting, but was an enjoyable read that kept me wondering what the end result would be. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have read almost every Megan Miranda book (YA and Adult) and I felt as though this one just wasn’t as amazing as the rest (still really good though and worth the read).

I really enjoyed this book. It reminded me very much of a cross between John Green's The Fault in Our Stars and Gillian Flynn's Dark Places. It follows two teenagers struggling with grief as they try to interpret what they think of as signs from the universe to make sense of their tragedies. It wraps up believably enough and both characters came across as very genuine to me. I never got annoyed when they pondered the meaning of the universe. I was pleasantly surprised by the casual LGBT inclusion too!

3.75/5 stars: it took me 4 months to read this. not because of the book, but because of me. so i feel my review is a little biased? i stopped in the middle of the book and then picked it back up 3 months later, so the beginning was a little blurry but once i started reading again, i got sucked back in and it wasnt too hard to catch up with what was happening! the ending was very nicely wrapped up and it was very twisty and turny but in a subtle way. I started reading again and couldnt put it down, it was the best feeling ive had in a while when it comes to reading!
