So good. This ambitious novel is a much quicker read than you might expect. I could have finished it at least a week ago, but I delayed saying farewell to this one. It covers a lot of ground thematically, geographically, topically, and chronologically. I'm not sure it's perfect, but it's very very good and it's got me asking questions and feeling inspired.
This is a difficult book for me to rate. If the question is did I enjoy reading this? The answer is definitely no. Every single character is deeply fucked up and I would come away from reading feeling angry and cynical. But it's a very compelling story, the ending is very strong, and I'm glad I read it.

I enjoyed the intricacy of the storylines and how they feed into one another. I personally though was not attached to any of the characters and did not really connect w them, making it difficult for me to really get into it. I also found parts of the plot and messaging shallow at times, like it never really reached where it was trying to go. It was a good read but nothing particularly stands out to me.
