This is easily one on my favorite books, solely because of the heroine. She is what I crave in a book. Which is probably why its so easy to overlook this train wreck that is bound to happen with her love life.

My Favorite thing Sarge said:
"But sometimes you say it [his name] like a prayer, and I think it's when you're emotions begin to consume all your strength." -Sarge

She is strong, independent, and capable. She is also flawed, she owns it. She is proactively trying to be a better person for the people around her, and that is admirable. I have a legit girl crush on Jillian/ Jessica.
"Maybe, but don't worry, he's not my type. I'm trying to rehabilitate my uniform 'fetish' to strictly Fedex and UPS-bigger packages."

It's a rare occurrence when I'm reading a book without knowing what the hell is happening, and I'm not frustrated. I was content to let it unfold. This author can freaking write.

I'm also can't stand flashbacks, or love triangles.  Yet here I am Rating 5 stars. The banter, the writing, I was hooked.

Is it really a love Triangle? No, but it does have the potential to be if everything goes to shit in a hand basket.

My feelings were hurt, I winced a couple of times, and I loved it. I fell in love with two men and didn't feel guilty. I laughed, and may or may not have shed 1 tear. Just one because let's not get crazy. In my defense, That cliffy broke my heart, And I should have seen it coming.

It gives witness protection vibes but they(siblings jack and jill) are maybe secret agents. It goes back and forth between their old lives and their new lives. Book 1 gives you just enough to suck you in, going to book 2 for further details!!!!

there was so much happening in this book, i wouldn’t be able to give an accurate description of everything that took place if i tried. it was unlike any book i’ve read before and i loved every moment of it. my main take aways were that the the FMC was a badass and that every single relationship in this story was the text book definition of trauma bonding on crack.

I give it 4.5 stars.
Somehow I was expecting a connection between AJ and Luke towards the end, but it didn't happen. Still, I liked the story and Jillian is so funny, her comments and comebacks made me laugh. The story is well written and really fun to read.

DID NOT FINISH: 50%

Head jumping, characters make no sense, all around hard to read.

I feel a bit left out, seeing all the 5-star reviews. I really didn't like the beginning and even though it got better as went on, it just didn't wow me. It was okay. Maybe it will get better as the story continues. Warning: it ends on a cliffhanger.

My absolute FAVORITE series ever!!! Jewel E Ann is a GENIUS!! Love the personality of the characters and the unexpected plot twists! SO SO GOOD!!
