I'm about to kill someone. Why did I even read this? It's just the same events repeating themselves over and over. I literally felt like I was reading something on wattpad (no offense to anyone but y'all know what I mean). I won't even talk about how childish the writing was.

Everything was totally illogical and I found myself asking "does this even make any sense in any possible way?" most of the time.

Sam just keeps changing his mind throughout the book and it didn't even feel like it was the same person at all. I liked reading about Jory and Dane way more.

I'm writing this and throwing myself off of a cliff, thank you.

The last few chapters bought this up from a 3.5 to a 4 pointer. I will now read further in this series. Found the first half of this story quite boring and was just reading to finish it. I still don't like Sam.

Insisto en que me fascina, dios, odio a Sam pero bueno...varones. Ojalá Jorey encuentre a alguien más.

I do still enjoy it but maybe it’s more of a 3.75. The book is not a 5 star read imo. Don’t know what I was thinking before buuut.

Absolutely enchanting main character in Jory, loved this more than the first. I enjoyed the story and pacing. I loved the extra time spent in this world and with all the characters. I am starting to enjoy Sam's character more and see what Jory see's in him. Will continue reading.
