the first book was amazing. i just felt like this one dragged on for so long like why were the first 50 chapters just them sitting around ??? also i found nasir’s character both inconsistent but also always changing.

i am normally not a fan of sequels, especially those of the fantasy genre, but i must say this was a phenomenal sequel. it carried on the story of the first book magnificently. the author did a wonderful job with the pacing and continuation of the story line. overall, a great read.
