El final de esta bilogía es fantástica, desde el inicio podemos ver el crecimiento de la autora y cómo sus personajes evolución con ella, todo el plot es detallado e inesperado, los sacrificios y la brutalidad de la novela es completamente cautivador.
Me encanta la forma como Hafsah escribe, es lirico y hermoso.
Creo que es emocionante ver el inicio de esta autora, siento que va a ser una voz muy fuerte en el mundo de la fantasia y ya quiero ver que hace después.
Si tienen miedo de que no se igual de bueno que el primero, siento que es mejor.

A solid continuation of the first book, perhaps even better. I loved the way all of the characters melded as a team even with their own desires. It was a tad longer than it needed to be, or more of the plot should've happened in the first book. It had a perfect ending tho!

What a thrilling conclusion to this duology!
I was excited to go back to the zumra and see Zafira, Nasir, Altair and Kifah again and I was not disappointed at all.
The steam between Zafira and Nasir got me raging a few times in this book ahah but their moments and emotions were so beautiful that it was pure magic.
Altair got me scared until it was ok. He is one of the key characters of the story, its humour give the whole tale a nice touch.
Overall the story touch on so many nice themes such as family and friendship and the limit we are ready to go for the ones we love.
I'm disappointed that it is the end but it was a very nice read, felt like a dream!

It’s over. It’s actually over?? I AM AN EMOTIONAL WRECK.
I put off finishing this because I knew as soon as it was over I was going to have an ache in my heart. These characters mean so much to me, this zumra of misfits coming together in a time of darkness and overcoming to see the light shining through... I am at a loss of words. This journey is something I will never forget. I will miss Altair and his flirty banter, Kifah and her fierce and loving heart, Nasir dark and compassionate, and of course Zafira pure of heart and dark of intention.
It was an ending that made me smile through the tears, because everything just felt so right. So complete. The adventure is over and it is time to move on and start anew. Nasir and Zafira are OTP. Top tier. I love them w everything I am. Kifah being the head guard for Altair was everything I needed and more. The sacrifice. The forgiveness. The love. The strength. Such an incredible journey that I’m so happy I got to be apart of.
