I didn’t hate this one, but I didn’t love it either. This is a coming-of-age story about a teenager in 1970s Baltimore—there’s sex, drugs, and rock and roll but not in the way you’re thinking. I think my biggest issue is that this read more like a young adult novel rather than adult like it’s listed as. This is one that I think the audiobook is a MUST for!
