I gotta say there is something about Abby Millsaps that makes you underestimate her, but this was book so good. I mean just Jo and Locke right off the bat was giving me all the butterflies and I breezed through this book.

Do not sleep on this story.

Had a great time with this and it absolutely flew by. The cliffhanger had one of my least favorite tropes, and I want to strangle Decker bc he cannot get his shit together, but that’s all forgivable bc the vibes are great. Is this a crazy realistic believable story? Nah but that’s not the point. The point is a forced proximity enemies to lovers why choose college sports romance. The point is hurt/comfort and vibes and mostly the point is Kylian Walsh. I will take no criticism for loving Kylian. Overall it’s engaging and I loved it

Yeah so… started it, didn’t put it down until I realized it was 4AM. And, you guessed it, picked up the next one immediately. In fact, the time rn it’s 5:30 AM and I had to force myself to put it down. FULLRTC

I ate this series up. It was what I needed at the time. The characters were a vibe, although K was a major asshole in this book. I will say, the author wasn’t very descriptive with the characters' features.

How I Rate Books
I rate based on resonance, re-readability, and whether the book randomly resurfaces in my thoughts.
⭐ 1 – Nothing stayed or DNF. Wouldn’t recommend.
⭐⭐ 2 – A flicker, but no fire. Finished out of curiosity or willpower.
⭐⭐⭐ 3 – Just good. Enjoyed it.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 – It clung in soft ways. Worth a revisit.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 – Lives in me now

A bit unbelievable, but let’s be real, I wasn’t expecting it to be “real life” when I picked it up. I listened to this on audiobook and am glad that I did. It kept the story moving and I did enjoy this one. It’s a good one to shock you out of a reading slump and pull you away from books with a ton of world building or lots of details that can be draining at times. This one is easy to read, smutty, and a quick read.
