Gregory wrote this will be the last book set in the Tudor era, and although I loved this series, I must say it is the right decision. The story of the Grey sisters disappointed me. I felt the story could be told more effectively in fewer words and pages.

I have reading a surprising number of Philippa Gregory's books, but this one was so dull and tedious. Every character is completely insufferable, and I actually just quit the books near the end.

Pop Sugar Reading Challenge-a book with a family tree.

I love PG's books. They're not always 100% historically accurate, but I've seen worse. She really does bring you into the head of the characters she creates and lets you see how stupid decisions may have not seemed so stupid at the time.
