A cozy read to warm up for the Christmas season.

I enjoyed the light mystery and gentle humor, although I expected more of the Christmas setting to shine through. Apart from the mention of wintery weather every now and then, and the fact that Daphne has to be home for the occasion, there was unfortunately not as much detail that points to Christmas as the premise of the book suggested.

Daphne King was charming though. I'd like to see her solve more mysteries.

Wel prima voor even tussendoor, maar niet interessant genoeg om echt goed te lezen. Ik ben er een beetje doorheen geskipt, zodat ik het verhaal wel meekreeg maar niet al het geneuzel
