I really liked the author’s first book I read, hated the second and this one fell short. If was mediocre at best. I liked Krystal as a character but I hated everyone else. I also feel it left some unanswered questions.

My Review…. 4 ⭐️

OK, I am super excited to tear through Lucinda berry‘s other books after reading this one. This book was told an alternating viewpoints of two sisters who share a tragic history. Krystal and Nichole grew up in foster home together and went through some terrifying experiences. These experiences shape the girls in two different ways. Told from then perspectives and now perspectives we see a story develop overtime.
Krystal and Nichole Are living their lives when one day Crystal gets a phone call that Nicole has tried to kill her husband and Crystal is shocked. Crystal thought that Nicole adored and loved her husband. But obviously something is very very wrong.
After trying to murder her husband, Nicole goes into a psych ward where she begins hearing voices and ultimately, going crazy. Crystal takes it upon herself to try and figure out just what happened, because her sister isn’t being her sister. Things aren’t adding up.

I love the fact that the ending wrapped up everything very well, and had a very shocking twist.
