Thank you to the author for the ARC!!

This was one of the most well crafted books I have ever read. I was hooked from the first page to the very end. I felt every emotion reading from wanted to scream through the book at Amelie, to wanting to fight Martha, to wanting to hug Ian. The relationship that I got to see blossom between Ian and Amelie was beautiful, especially at a time where Amelie truly just needed a friend when her own best friend couldn't see she was struggling.

At first I wanted to scream when they became friends because I thought I knew what was going to happen but man was I wrong. Both had been though so much and Ian became her lifeline and eventually her whole world in a matter of a few months. But how do you say yes to this new love that may never end in marriage when you have put in 15 yrs with someone and the wedding you have "dreamed" about is finally in your reach. We love this ole thing call fate because when they finally cross paths again they nothing has changed. BUT OMG WILLIAM ROBERTS CAN ACTUALLY KICK ROCKS BECAUSE MY JAW WAS ON THE GROUND THAT WHOLE CHAPTER

Anyway, please read this book because it was absolutely beautiful and amazing and Letizia you did your thing!

i really do not enjoy books that go back and forth in time. up until like 70% of this book, it was this exact format. besides that though, i think it was really cute. it was a lot of miscommunication and vagueness that i didn’t really enjoy.

DNF at 52%. I tried. I really did. This book is just so boring and repetitive. And I just couldn’t care less about any of the characters.

This book was painful to read. Amelie annoyed me to no end and the dialogue was so unrealistic. So many icky and toxic relationships

OH MY GOD MY HEART!😩❤️

THIS WAS THE BEST— T H E B E S T — FRIENDS TO LOVERS I EVER READ!🥺

It was soooooo beautiful and wholesome and heartwarming! I couldn't put ut down at allll! And whenever i had to put it down, Ian and Amelie were allll i could think about!

It showed how they became friends to how they found their way to each other as soulmates! It was soooo beautiful- the journey, painful? Yes! Angsty? Yes! BUT OH ALL THAT DESTINY AND FATE STUFF!

Plus i loveeeed how the author executed the whole past and present scenes! It was so meaningfully set yk!

IAN AND AMELIE!!! ABSOLUTE LOVESSS! IAN IS WALKING TALKING GREENEST FOREST TO EVER EXIST! SO POSITIVE AND HAPPY AND KIND AND PATIENT AND SENSTIVE MAN-

The conversations between them were to die for realllyyyy! Equally hilarious and flirty and soooo full of love and longing OH MY GOD MY HEARTTTT!

ALSOOO 5 STARRRRR!

A bit vapid with a few too many subplots, but not a terrible read.
emotional funny hopeful lighthearted medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This story is the second in a series but can be read as a standalone since it is about different couple. It was about Amelie who has been with her boyfriend, Frank for 15 years.

To be honest, I had a hard time reading it. Dual timeline was something new for me and I didn't enjoyed keeps reading the timeline changing. Ian, I'm not in love with him. His characteristic was definitely not for me. Amelie, I could tell that she was kind, afraid for something new and couldn't stand up for herself (sounded just like me) really made me can relate to her.

It was an okay read for me. I like all the food mentioned and craving for them.

Thank you author for the advance copy! xx
