"One year ago, Amelie had it all."

No, I strongly disagree. Also, she's a pushover, stubborn, and an emotional cheater.

Loved the dual timeline and plot. There were multiple plot points and parts to this story that keeps you engaged throughout. The romance is really sweet.

IAN SUPREMACY!!

This book was pure vibes in the best way possible. Amelie and Ian's story was SO DAMN good! From how they meet to how their story plays out, I was HOOKED. The tension that was built was so palpable, I just wanted them to kiss SO BAD.

Also, Amelie? Seeing her ready to leave her man after putting him before her for YEARS was the vengeance I needed. As a fellow perpetual people pleaser, I was screaming from the rooftops of how proud of her I was! Even more so, seeing her come to the realization with someone like Ian, was so so sweet.

IAN. This man???? This soft gentle man who knew how to push and prod Amelie while still allowing her to be her own person? And that mouth???? Ian has jumped up on my rating of book boyfriends, I love him so much.

I read this 460 page book in two days. TWO DAYS! It was steamy, addicting, and fun in so many ways, I’m so glad I picked it up!

If there is a book that should be made into a movie it’s this one. Think 2000s romcom vibes. Loved this story. Would highly recommend.
