I liked this one, it was sweet and filled me with holiday cheer. Josie and Palmer fall in love over a summer, but Josie is set to go back to the mainland in order to fulfill her dreams of becoming a chef. They find their way together and live a fulfilling life in the end but my only issue with it was Josie's wishy-washy behavior. I didn't mind that she wasn't sure what to do, but I wish that her character had been a bit more settled. Overall, a good read and a fulfilling ending. Fans of Debbie Macomber will love it!
I used to be an avid fan of Debbie Macomber. This book was a disappointment. There wasnt much depth to the story and it's very predictable.
I love Debbie Macomber and I love books that take place during the holidays. After the book Merry and Bright, I was expected to get throw into the holiday spirit but this book barely mentions Christmas. I wish this book wasn’t labeled a holiday book because I was left disappointed. Overall I enjoyed the story and the characters. It was a quick, fun read and I loved that the story took place in Alaska.

Audiobook. Super quick. You had me at Alaska. However, once I started reading the premise of this book seemed so ridiculous that I almost didn’t continue, except that I realized I was already a quarter into the book. Definitely not enough Christmas. Not much depth to the story. Alaska and the food are what make this book.
