Another great children's book. Pete's buttons pop off one by one but he still sings his song.

This is a very cute book that would be a great addition to early childhood classrooms.

This is the story of life happening to you and rolling with the punches--with a few subtraction problems and a song thrown in for good measure.

This would make a great mentor text for teaching the so what in a story.

Cute story; enjoyed the ending. "...stuff will come and stuff will go. But do we cry? Goodness, NO! We keep on singing."

Excellent punchline!!!!

So darn fun and cute.

I like the big numbers and the math expressions in this book. Melanie likes it because she could "read" it by herself after hearing it once.

Used in Outreach Storytime 8/5/2016 (VLC) - I had them all say the "Goodness no! Buttons come and buttons go" parts and sing the song with me and they loved it. They wanted to sing it again when we finished the book!

I love this book.

Great early math skills (counting down and math equations printed on the pages) and a positive mindset. Who cares if your buttons popped off? You sun have your BELLY BUTTON!!

Love Pete!
