This wasn't nearly as good as the Lux series, however it was so great to read about the arum and get more information on both the arum and the luxen. I also liked getting to know Hunter, who was in Origin, and I'm guessing will be in Opposition. However this story wasn't amazing, it just didn't have the extra something that I was looking for. The plot went a little too fast, and this whole possessive " you are mine forever, I claimed her, he claimed me" really angers me. People are not objects, you do not claim or own somebody, and I really hate reading relationships like that. Overall, this gave me good insight into the Lux world, and I'm glad that I read it.
Glancing through some of the reviews, I swear it's like I'm the only person who thought it was just okay.
Not my type of book. I wish there was more of the science fiction aspect and less sex. I mean, I like steamy and smutty scenes as much as the next person but I'd rather see some kick ass stuff. And I didn't think Serena was as kick ass and awesome as Katy. So it was just okay. Not the best. I'd rather read the Lux series

Whoa! I did not see this coming! What a sexy book! I love the Luxen series, so i had to read this story, and i made a great choice that day.

Zo začiatku bolo ťažké pozerať sa na záporákov z celej série inak, ale keď sa mi to konečne poradilo, čítanie som si užívala. Hunter bol typický bad boy a kto by takých nemal rád. Jediné, čo ma viac ako milo prekvapilo, bola súvislosť s Lux sériou. Okej, vedela som, že to spolu súvisí, ale nie až tak. Aspoň teraz budem všetko lepšie chápať. Aj keď pri mne... nie, nebudem. :D

Hunter is one crazy and hot character! I also loved seeing a few of the other characters from The Lux series.

I really love everything she writes, and this is no exception. Although, this did not get a 5 because I didn't get all that emotional over it. But I still liked it a lot. I loved the snarky and mouthy characters and loved that this was set in the Lux series' world (especially with the crossovers characters).

Well I was already obsessed with the Lux series....Obsession just took it to a whole different level. I loved getting to hear an Arum's point if view. It really made me think that everything isn't so black and white, there are some decent Arum, and pretty horrible Luxen. I can't wait to see where things go from here!!
