I think the plot/mystery was nice, but what made the story really good is Tommy and Tuppence. Tommy and Tuppence just complement each other in so many ways, and having them together is very entertaining to read.
I liked how the two "detectives" in the story aren't perfect, like Sherlock Holmes (as I find Sherlock's "perfection" makes him so boring to read about). Another thing I love about the story is the setting (I love historical fiction).
I guess if one wants a light read, this is the book.

Very strong story and fun new characters that I didn't know so far. Tommy and Tuppence are just lovely!!

There is some weird romance stuff at the end (did people really get engaged before dating back then?). Otherwise this is a fun, adventure-filled novel.

I loved loved this. It is like it was written for me perfectly. The mystery was fun but also I just adored the characters. The mystery, the relationships, the humour, were all perfect for me. I can’t say this book is perfect for everyone but I just had such a good time reading it, so I love it
