Michael's baby sister was born early, abd no one knows if she will survive. Michael tries to help the best he can. He is making new friends with his next door neighbor and Skellig a man with arthritis and wings, who lives in his garage.

This was a weird novel, with a depressing mood.

Powerful book with big ideas. Encourages young readers to face scary things with the wide arsenal of imagination. The ending might wrap things up a bit neat for me, but a big impact nonetheless.
