Not my favorite of the Discworld novels, but still good. Other than the beginning, this book lacked most of the familiar settings and characters of the Discworld, and I think that's ultimately what made it less enjoyable for me than others in the series. Still full of great Pratchett humour though.

After Wyrd Sisters, this book is a step down, but how could it have been any different?
It still has its moments, though. I especially liked the opening sequence, even if it kind of led nowhere and the part with the Sphinx. Again, Pratchett's prose pulls your feet out from under you in a page if you don't pay attention to what's happening, but rewards you with genius metaphors, comparisons and jokes if you do.

My least favourite Discworld book so far. Not sure if it was from reading on the plane, but I didn't have the same love for the characters that I've had in previous books.
Another funny romp through Discworld. A king who is a god, and pyramid power wrapped up in a time of clashes between tradition and change. What happens when all your gods become real? And: Zombies!!
