This has been the hardest of the Discworld books to get through. It's so tied up in math jokes, that I had to slog just to get through it.
We start off with my favorite possible storyline, a young person learning to be an assassin. And then it turns out this assassin is king of the Egyptians, except they have a different name. And he has to go back and rule, except "ruling" is mostly sitting there looking kingly. And then crazy stuff happens.
My favorite parts involve the king trying to be friends with and interact with his kingdom, because they all hate it and Pratchett writes their horror well. I also quite liked the greatest mathematician.
I laughed a lot during this book, and it has interesting things to say about the power of belief and tradition.
