An 'ok' entry of the Discworld series for me...one of the weakest of 7 so far I've read (chronologically).

It had some fun and interesting ideas on the ideas of belief and religion.

My biggest gripe is that there were a couple of storylines that 1) didn't make complete sense and 2) were irrelevant to the overall plot.

My least favorite of the Discworld books I've read so far, but it's still funny! I just think the world building here fell flat, and I didn't think Terry handled spoofing Ancient Egypt as well as he does for European stuff. It is an early Discworld book though, so he doesn't really have his feet under him. It is worth a read!!

Pratchett never misses, I actually laughed out loud and snorted reading this one

This is basically a standalone discworld novel, no prior reading for any of the others required. It takes a while to get going but I really enjoyed hearing about the assassins school. Definitely one if you like ancient history, lots of little jokes and puns!
