I've loved a lot of her previous books but the romance here wasn't for me. Charlie's family and her adoption were the only things I really enjoyed, plot wise.

I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would. Her writing style has vastly improved in my opinion and i’m glad I gave it another chance.

Whew, boy. Jumping in hot to an awkward sex scene without any leadup, which gets a splash of cold water when the male lead asks "do I repel you?" before we know or care about any of these characters.

I'm sure it's someone else's cup of tea, but it's not mine.
