This book was amazing. It gave me a whirlwind of emotions. I laughed...(alot), I was happy, I was angry,I cried and was happy again.
Well written and a fast read. This author makes you instantly fall for the characters.

Hawaii was definitely a lovely place to be transported to in times like these! When you add in the cute romance and many chuckles, it made the perfect summer contemporary. I wasn't the most invested in the main relationship to start off with (I was kinda dreading a redemption arc for a rubbish male lead, but he turned out to be not as rubbish as I'd thought), but it grew on me a lot throughout the book. Overall it was a great romance with a satisfying ending!

This is probably my favourite Christina Lauren book yet. Olive and Ethan truly hates each other and I loved how the authors truly showcased how their feelings changed over the span of their 10 day trip in Maui. This honestly ignores all hope in love that I lost

do you know when you read a book and think: "wow this would be really good as a movie" BECAUSE THIS IS IT

i was laughing like a madman the whole time reading this because it's so ridiculous and light-hearted and it's so summer-y (though im a month late) and I'll never stop advocating for this to be made a movie because a romcom like this is long overdue!!!

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT OLIVE AND ETHAN'S CHEMISTRY????? like god i loved them but what ticked me off was the olive bad luck and ami good luck thing and how she was always but subtle-ly comparing herself to ami? but ethan came through frfr

i love that the s*x scenes weren't descriptive and CL focused more on the chemistry and relationship building because this actually feels like a romance now!

overall: i need an ethan in my life.
