Excellent book! Although a couple of sections did not apply to me (like getting out of debt getting a money team, or negotiating my salary - graduate students can't negotiate salaries), I learned a lot of useful information to improve my financial status and goals and plan on rereading the book to revise the tips that are applicable in my future! Some useful tips: reduce your electricity bill by flipping your power strip off, the true purpose of saving, and a great explanation of every stock market jargon!

"There's an African proverb that says, "If you want to go fast, go alone. if you want to go far, go with others."

There’s always been some mystery around life and disability insurance for me and now with this book, I finally feel like I understand it! Explains things in a straightforward way and the why which is a perspective I enjoy hearing about since I’m able to understand the context surrounding money better. Depending on where you are in your financial journey, some chapters may be more useful than others but i guess this book is the type to revisit every now and then.

This is everything I needed to know snd more to figure out how/where to begin and then get more help if needed. This should go to every college graduate.

She does such a great job of breaking down the steps and giving quick actionable items. I feel like I am able to accomplish these steps rather than defeated because of prior mistakes.
