I liked reading a steamy romance with a femdom dynamic for the first time. I thought certain elements of plot and dialogue were annoying but did actually end up liking the main characters. I thought the steamy scenes focuses a lot on edging and not much else which would’ve have been more fun to read about.
Really enjoyed reading how they fell in love (she’s a lonely human, he’s a demon incubus who visits her in her dreams) but the solution to the external conflict didn’t make much sense to me. That was a letdown because MMC’s backstory/ history living in ancient Mesopotamia was very interesting and fleshed out.
Probably the best billionaire book I've ever read. I love a heroine who gives no shits about spending money. The femdom in this book was astounding. I didn't think there was any way this would live up to Mutually Beneficial but it easily does. I cannot wait for the next book Heather Guerre releases!
Counting this as an anti-capitalist read.

Also, I rarely care how personable and likeable the female protagonists are (a grace I don’t extend to the heroes), since I believe that if a story bangs it doesn’t matter if I disagree with every decisions the heroine made. All that said…I’m a simp for Kate, she can do no wrong!! She is the mother I never had, she is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person. Talk about unwavering core values!!
