Liked this one much better than Shara Wheeler (though that wouldn't take much).

It's really a beautiful story, both in story content and setting(s.). I was slightly worried when some of the top reviews were bad, but it turned out that I didn't see the same things that other reviewers did.

I don't know that McQuiston will ever write another book that takes me as wholly as Red, White, and Royal Blue, but this is the one that comes closest so far.

I liked it, I didn't LOVE it. The writing is really good and it made me want to travel.

This book <3 so special! I loved the aspect of being on a tour of Europe (I had just been to a few of these places myself, so it was fresh in my brain!) and the rekindling of a relationship with someone special who you lost years ago... there is not enough of this trope out there!! Their relationship between Theo and Kit felt so alive to me, and the queerness was such a beautiful element to the book. I felt seen in so many moments (especially in their sense of humor). I will critique it in that it really felt like it dragged on... there were so many places to visit, and the pace was just really leisurely, which kinda got old after a while. Also, Theo's POV in the first half of the book was so much more entertaining than the second half... sorry Kit, but your sincerity and seeming greater self-awareness was a lot more boring. Oh, it was also incredibly smutty and I was like... can we do maybe anything else?? Like please. I enjoyed some but had to put it away multiple times because I was just not intrigued.

BUT would so recommend. To anyone else confused, though, it is not T4T... but it is bi4bi!
