informative slow-paced

This felt like a really good sort of reference guide for someone who wants to know more about gender identity and has no base knowledge.

I really enjoyed this book and how raw it was in its narrative. Bailar did not hold back in sharing personal narratives and answering questions that many would be frightened to ask. His story is inspiring and I listened to the audio version (narrated by the author). I am looking forward to seeing him speak in a couple of days.

Switching to the e-book.

Schuyler does a good job narrating the audiobook but I feel like the format of the book works better as a physical/e-book.

Everyone should read this book. It was so informative and helpful. I met Schuyler Bailar during a talk to promote He/She/They and he was just the nicest person! I have a copy of the book as a reference but also really enjoyed listening to him read it on the audiobook.
