Schuyler Bailar is an amazing human with the kindest soul. What an incredibly humbling book he has written. I am eternally thankful for his work and what he has taught me. His work challenges me to evaluate what I have learned about gender and contemplate my own experience with gender and indentity. I cannot recommend this book enough!

I can’t say I learned anything totally new from this book, but I recommend it as a very accessible and empathetic starting place for people who want to learn more about gender identity and trans issues.
