This book wasn’t really my thing, but it was gripping and I can understand why people would like it

It made me enjoy the little things in life along with our unnamed narrator and his son. Worth a read!

Drink everytime you read "the road".
I don't think The Road was meant to be a drinking game. I do think that if you treated it as one you would fully be able to enjoy the hopelessness and despair that the novel is trying to get across.
Don't get me wrong, The Road was amazing. I had no idea it would be so compelling. I felt such sympathy for the characters and was horrified by their predicament. I feel a little more prepared for the apocolypse, whichever form it decides to come in.
The Road was well written and left me speechless.
