Here's what I'm learning from this book: The post apocalyptic future is scary. I like that this book doesn't divert into zombies. It's not like it's the end of the world, so now zombies roam the earth. It's worst! Humans roam the earth, and they suck. Kind of heart warming, scary, cute, unnerving, sort of book. McCarthy's writing style takes a while to get used to, but once it grows on you it's smooth sailing.
