This book was… interesting. Not going to lie, the first 2/3 was tiresome. The scenes with Paedyn and Kai seemed repetitive with nothing actually being established between the two and the trials were underwhelming. HOWEVER, the last third of the book was incredible. From the plot twists (

still cannot believe Kai murdered her father…

), to the cute thumb war scene, to the epilogue where Kitts anger is tangible, it was a great way to end the book. I can see the second book (Reckless) being good with the way the author has set it up. Just wish the quality of the book was as good the whole of the time. (love kai btw, really gives Warner vibes…)
