Soul Bound is book number 7 in the Blood Coven Vampire Novel series and it takes Sunny and Rayne on another cross-country trip because Sunny and Magnus have to hide for their safety. Sadly Rayne, has been contacted by Slayer Inc. to find her sister and the vampire Coven leaderand bring them in. Of course Rayne doesn't want that and instead wants to find her sister and help her. Rayne's relationship with Jarreth is on the fence and not looking good. Rayne ends up finding her sister only to have royally screwed things up again and has to travel to the Underworld to strike a deal with the devil himself to save her sister.

This books has drama, action, gasp worthy scenes, will bring you to tears and rip your heart out. As these book continue on they are still labeled as YA and suitable for younger generation but I can't help but love Sunny and Rayne.

All I can say about this volume is wow. While some of the dry wit and humor that I love so much about this series seems to be missing, I did still very much enjoy the book. Especially the Special Circle of Hell for e-book pirates :) That was genius in my opinion.

So in now time I read the 7th book...*exhausted*
More creativity I ever read? No! BUT! Sometimes less is more!
I like Rainy more ( xD did I ever wrote her name right?) so the story is a bit wittier and her sister is still stupid and a cry baby like ever...
At first I thought...Ok how could she trust Birdy (Bertha) ? But I just said to myself...If you try to understand the book with common sense you going never understand these books...So I just read.
To be honest XD I like the author’s idea of hades! I start to laugh while I read the Wi-Fi and amazon and everything stuff...Nice way to interpret the death! Also that Hades is a gamer nerd is a great idea! Race is also really funny! So really funny book with a lot of good ideas!
But too much everything creativity is also annoying...the author put nearly everything in the 8 books what you can do...Not that the story of the books is great, because of that it is a bit confusing and some books are not necessary to read!
Really that’s too much and let’s be honest a bit common sense every fantasy book needs...So a bit more realistic and the book would be a bit better. But I like the book much more than the last one or the 5th...
Ah, but the connections with Justin Bieber and stuff I don’t have problem with, because its ok sometimes it’s even funny XD Sometimes not necessary but I think that’s not the main problem why the books are a bit boring sometimes…
Still I would not recommend XXD a buy if you've less free time.

ps.
I love hercules :B good choice!

This is Book #7 in the Blood Coven Vampire series. This time Sunny and Magnus are in danger and have run off together, which leaves Rayne in charge of finding and bringing them back by assignment of Slayer Inc. While still trying to find a way to get rid of Pyrus and not have the coven thrown out of the Vampire Consortium. As always thought nothing goes like planned and they find themselves worse then how they started. Through out the book Rayne is faced with more and more difficult decisions that just don’t seem to go the right way. I like that Jareth gets to reconnect with his past and we get more insight to his closed up and detached nature. With everything going on now, apart from the vampires and faeries the author also brings in some Greek mythology in the mix which is interesting and adds another twist to the story. I enjoyed the authors take on Hell and the different places or sections to it. I’m not sure what to think about the ending its a big turn of events but I’m intrigued as to what Sunny and Rayne will do with this new opportunity. Overall it was an easy read with good pace and I will be looking forward to Book #8.

So Mitch made me guilty over this book. >:( Why did I gave it a 4 star? Honestly, I don't remember. :P So I'm bumping it by two stars when I REMEMBER THAT IN THE END, they'll be back from the start as if nothing happened just so Sunny wouldn't die and so and so. WTF is that, I don't know. But yes, I'll still read the next book. Just because I already started the series and I'm bound to finish it. >:(

I did enjoy this book - the ending leaves so much open. A lot happens in this & a lot doesn't if that makes sense. The setting is there to just take it that one step further but it just doesn't seem to reach there for me. It will be interesting to see how this all winds up.
