“I just want you. All I’ve ever wanted is you. I need you to know that.”

And that is how you do a miscommunication book!
Oh did this one hurt in the best of ways.

This was hands down the best one yet.
Friends to lovers to enemies to lovers again then possibly enemies again...maybe.
I loved every minute of this book so much that I could not put it down and didn't want to leave Wes & Cooper.
Wes & Coopers story evolved so much that by the middle of the book I was in agreement with Riley on how they were behaving towards each other and just wanted to smoosh them together and say "Talk!" but when I say it they talk and it explodes, it explodes.
Wes & Coopers POVs gives way to how much hurt and happiness comes from them when the other is near. I would have to agree with their moms about them together. Both guys have something they hold back from each other in order to protect themselves but ultimately it is what drives the wedge.

While this book had its happy moments there was the difficult part for me from Cooper, I just wanted to wrap him in a big hug and tell him yes you are. What he goes through and he thinks was the hardest part of his POVs but it made me love this book and Cooper more.

There is miscommunication, spice, best friend banter, embarrassing parent humor and of course feelings. I would definitely rec this book. Besides we all love a man in uniform right ;)
emotional mysterious

I read this for a double Buzzword Challenge pick, "with" and a form of transport on the cover.

It turned out to be second chance, which I normally don't have a problem with, though I know many people hate that trope. Perhaps bc they've read books like this for said trope. Honestly, I think the issue is the combination of second chance and fake dating.

We're left mystified as to why Cooper dumped Wesley for much of the book, but when Wesley's mom pressures him to find a date or she'll keep setting him up with randoms, he says he already has someone. She wants to meet him, so he panics and says she already knows him, and the only boyfriend he's had is Cooper, so he says they got back together. She's thrilled and wants Cooper to come to dinner, so he has to reach out.

I could get into lots of detail, but basically, we eventually find out through too many italicized flashbacks Cooper does the most hardcore
whitefanging
of all time, and then his life falls apart in other ways so they've never spoken since.

I was with them for a while in the middle of the book, when they were fake dating and then starting to communicate again, but then Wesley serenades Cooper in front of his family, then the two of them start making out in front of everyone and then go to bed, where everyone knows what's up - seemed not cool for everyone involved. Also, Cooper sucks and
went back on his word and the official end of the book is Wesley still thinking about getting back together (they are married in the epilogue, but like . . . we should be assured they are together at the official end, correct?)

Speaking of flashbacks, the flashback where they
have cheesy parody BDSM sex on Wesley's 18th birthday
(yeah, I didn't know all the flashbacks were going to be high school) - it was so cringe, and all in italics OF COURSE.

Like so many of my low-rated reads, it descended into madness. The worst books do that, seem silly and innocuous at first and then keep getting worse and worse by degrees until you feel like "I only have 15% left, I should just finish it!" Learn a lesson, you don't have to finish anything, even if the end is in sight.

Was gifted with this ARC by the talented @felsnowauthor and I absolutely loved it!! A second chance romance with a fake boyfriend twist. These two are the kings of miscommunication. Best friends since childhood and first loves before a breakup guts them both and leaves them apart for 9 years. Until Wes needs a fake boyfriend and accidentally tells his mom he and Cooper got back together…

Reasons I Recommend:

1) Adorably sweet! The simple gestures, the love between them; even when they “hate” each other you can see it never went away

2) Miscommunication is a big thing and it drives me mad, but it all works out and a few helpful people are around to kick some butt as needed and

3) Just beautifully written from the flashbacks of how they first fell in love to how they figure out how to heal a decade later from both grief and love.

Come Fly With Me is one heck of an emotional second-chance romance. At times I found the characters extremely frustratingly stubborn while loving how utterly smitten with one another. Their connection is raw, instinctive, and completely consuming. Wesley and Cooper have a complicated history due to being each other's first love, and having to reunite and fake being in a relationship definitely opens up old wounds.

This story is told in both the present and in flashbacks. The flashbacks show how utterly connected and perfect Wesley and Cooper are, which I loved getting to see. While the present moments show how they are struggling to understand how to be forced back into each other's lives while their feelings come hurtling back.

Overall I really enjoyed this story. The misunderstandings and miscommunications are always frustrating to read, but I found that aspect of their relationship necessary for the overall healing to happen. I enjoyed getting to see Wesley and Cooper fall for one another not only once, but twice. Their connection could never be ignored and I loved seeing their hard-won HEA.

⭐️ 3.5 stars ⭐️

I had a bit of a love/hate relationship with Wesley and Cooper’s story.
The premise, the characters, the tropes were all vibing at the start and I was enjoying it.
But then they got back together (a little too soon maybe?) and everything began to crumble.

The miscommunication between these two was A LOT, so just be prepared to want to bonk their heads and scream at them to talk to each other throughout the entirety of this book.

As always, with second chance romances there is never enough groveling.
The multiple time jumps towards the end didn’t really help, they only made me feel even more unconnected to the characters and events happening. What was probably supposed to be a very emotional and tear-worthy ending, came off as dispassionate and rushed.

My other little issue was the spice. When it was explicit and open-door it was great - passionate and sexy and loving. But other times, the spice scenes were more fade to black and quick, ergo less fiery and, again, a little rushed. That switch scene, though…

Very very good. The 2 MCs are well written and so human. I love how much they care and respect each other and Cooper's issues are very relatable. And the fact that he realised he needs to work on them before committing to Wesley. Great support characters.

ARC review given for an honest review. I honestly devoured this book. I started it late one night and finished it the next day because I was so invested in Cooper and Wesley´s story. I was able to feel the hurt coming from both Wesley and Cooper for different reasons with the 9 year split but also how much they still loved each other. The author takes us through the memories of how they met and how it ended and it was done beautifully throughout the story. I also loved the supportive families from both sides.

Overall, I do highly recommend this super cute and loving story!

Come fly with me - Felicity Snow
Childhood best friends to lovers to exes to enemies to fake boyfriends back to lovers.
My poor complicated, emotional boys - Wesley and Cooper are destined to be together if they could only have a single conversation!
Miscommunication with a side of miscommunication!
This book is raw, emotional and sexy.
I read it in one sitting!
That being said I’m not sure the writing style is entirely my cup of tea but that’s completely personal.

When I first saw this one popping up I knew I was going to read it. Unfortunately, due to some of the content, it can't be published on Amazon or Smashwords, but the author will have it available through her Payhip website and I highly recommend purchasing it.

This read was an easy five stars and it has become a quick favorite. It just felt like a big, warm, comfortable hug. Is that weird to say? I mean, it might be but I just fell so in love with Cooper and Wes and their love for each other. The flashbacks were perfectly placed and I felt every single moment when these men felt it.

Please ensure you're checking the TWs, as there is some parental illness/death which I know can be tough for some readers. Take care of yourself first, friends! But if that doesn't deter you, definitely go pick this up when it releases and let me know your thoughts!
