Katee Robert has done it again! Though the plot is very similar to another from this series, the characters are lovable and the smut is smutting! A nice quick read that set up the next one well by introducing the characters for it.

This installment in Robert’s Wicked Villains series stars Ursa (the sea witch), Alaric (a charming rogue devoted to Ursa), and Zurielle (an innocent “princess” and daughter of Ursa’s greatest enemy). Like the rest of the series, previous protagonists make appearances as well as the future protagonists being foreshadowed. Much of this throuple is a reskinned version of the Hades/Hercules/Meg story with Zuri playing the Hercules role of “innocent person connected to the enemy of a powerful person initially being used to get revenge but they actually all fall in love.” The greatest difference here is the main dominant personality is a woman.
I know nobody is reading these for the plot but choose this one if you’re more interested in FFM rather than MMF that the other throuple books have.

While I understood Ursa's arc, it wasn't my favorite of the books in the series. However, I loved the three main characters as a unit.
