I loved this one - styled like a Grimm/fairy tale. But I figured out the plot pretty early. I will chalk it up to being a very well-read reader and hope that for the younger set they don't figure it out so quickly. Still very well crafted.

This is a great read. Without giving anything away I'll just say this, I was totally immersed in the story and didn't know where it was going until it took me there. It's a short story that is easy to devour in one sitting and a must for anyone who enjoyed the grisha trilogy!

Another winner from the ridiculously talented Ms Bardugo!
The Too-Clever Fox focuses on Koja, the ugly runt of the family who is actually pretty intelligent. He certainly lives up to foxes being sly, wily and cunning, and the imagery throughout is graphic at times but also incredibly vivid.
I loved the other mini stories Bardugo weaves into the tale, and the twist (which I did see coming) but still, it was beautifully told and richly atmospheric.
Is there anything this author cannot do?!
