It took me a little while to get started, but ended up really enjoying this. It feels a bit like if Mean Girls was set in the Regency era; similar elements of coming of age, friendship cliques etc. but with regency era societal norms.

The latter half of the book is definitely a lot more fast-paced than the first. I went from swooning over a budding romance to being heartbroken in one chapter at some point.

Definitely check the TW before reading, the book has themes of sex, sexulity, and consent. As such there are allusions to SA. That said, as someone sensitive to those themes, I feel it was well-handled.

Really enjoyed this book! I will say it started off a bit slow, but once it got going and the romance between Georgianna and Thomas really got going I liked the story much more.
