I came across this book in a list of recommended cosmic horror. I love the cosmic horror elements of this book, and much of the setting and premise of the book. The fact that this was a YA novel took me by surprise, and is not what I would usually enjoy from cosmic horror. For my personal taste, I would have preferred a book of the same setting without the YA elements and tone.

Woah! This is a great novel, and I love its message more for being a ya novel. It’s a great story for young and old. A story about love, family, secrets, and choices.
Plus there’s a spooky house, a mysterious inheritance with some weird stipulations, not ghosts but something, creepy voices on the audio.
