I always enjoy the Septimus Heap series and this one was definitely no different. I love how the story is progressing and it's always fun to read about magyk and physik especially how the two fields cannot get along at all. I thought the whole "place where all times do meet" thing was very cool and of course now I'm really looking forward to reading Book 5, Syren.

While I loved this book, it was my least favorite out of all of them so far. I don't know why it just wasn't that exciting to me.....maybe that is why it took longer than it should have for me to read it.
Like I said it was a good book, but it could have been better...so yea I don't really know what to write so that's it for today.

Septimus and Sages universe are something to love. And even when rereading the series after many years it is still simply amazing and so cozy. You just have to fall in love with all the different characters.

It was a good reading indeed. I was a little bit surprised how quickly I got back in the story, places and characters even though it was really a long time ago when I read previous parts. The lower rating is just because of the fact that maybe I would enjoy it a little bit more if I were a little bit younger. But still I recommend this as a fun and relaxing reading for everyone.

Another enjoyable chapter in Septimus' story! Sage never ceases to delight! I got a little worried when I was 85% through, but she wrapped it up neatly and it was fun, but I would expect nothing less! Onto book 5!

Not one of my favorites. Well written and a good author but the second book was just too dry for my liking. Magyk was probably better than these and I liked it better but I will continue this series for the sake of not wanting to leave this series unfinished.
