Im going to go ahead and DNF this at 50%. I was so excited to find this novel because it was a mystery by a POC author but I really don't like it. I will be trying her book coming out this year in September anyways.

Wow another horrible shot at someone writing their own And Then There Were None. Everyone needs to just stop doing this please. This was all over the place and not in a good way.

The first half of the book was dreadfully boring. I couldn't understand why it was even published. The characters were not interesting and the main character was unlikable but in a very boring way. I'll admit the story did pick up some when people finally started dying, but I'd be surprised if many people got that far. The end was satisfying in a way, but also not as much as it could have been with a few extra twists that I was hoping for but never came.

Wonderful mystery thriller with a female lead. The end kind of wrapped up too neatly but still a satisfying end.
