Heart warming

Love the characters, the story line. It had laughing moments, crying moments. A super cute must read that’s for sure.

I enjoyed this! I didn't love the perspective switches that happened a lot, and it felt a little slow at time, but it felt realistic to law enforcement. I liked how active Sharon and Niki were in their role of saving Mia, as well as the development of their relationship. I would've liked a little faster pace, but overall, 3.5 stars.

it was an easy read but the characters felt underdeveloped and the plot felt surface level. i kept trying to figure out if the book was y/a

This was a fast paced thriller about a little girl who has been trapped in a house for 3 years with a family who originally took her with good intentions, but now treats her as little more than the family maid. Told through multiple perspectives, I really appreciated the pacing and couldn’t wait to find out what happened to Mia! I have a 15 month old daughter myself, and find that I can’t read books about bad things happening to children anymore. Thankfully this book stayed gripping without any really horrifying things happening to the little girl, which I really appreciated!

I guess I’m in the minority on this one. It’s a quick read and an interesting premise. Unfortunately the characters were very one dimensional, especially Suzette, so the whole book fell flat for me.
